Here is a helpful gadget prototype for anyone who hates getting out of bed in the morning (everyone?) – the Ruggie. This alarm clock is a great new gadget that might seem a bit evil at first – it has no snooze button. That’s right. The Ruggie is a new alarm clock that makes you physically get out of bed to shut it off.

This equal parts annoying and helpful alarm clock gadget makes you rest both of your feet on a memory mat sensor for an ample amount of time before it shuts off. Evil? Maybe. Useful? Definitely. So if you love to sleep in but just can’t afford to, the Ruggie is the perfect wake up call.

The Ruggie is raising money to bring it from contemplation to creation on Kickstarter right now, and it has already passed its initial funding goal. It looks like your favorite sleepyhead might be getting a harsh wake-up call sooner rather than later.

Gadgets are catapulting our lives forward in every way these days, literally from the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep and all the seconds in between. If you need a wake-up call in the worst way (with no snooze button) check out The Ruggie on Kickstarter to support the cause. Wake up, everyone – we know you have something better to do than sleep.

Photos of the Alleged “Graphite” iPhone 5s Surfaces

Well, another day and yet another iPhone 5s leak. Seems like there is a new one everyday at this point. These photos were posted online by Sonny Dickson showing the purported iPhone 5s graphite back housing assembly. This is expected to be an addition to the yet to be confirmed “champagne” color option. The pictures show the back at multiple angles as well as the volume/power buttons.

Up to this point, the iPhone 5s has been widely thought of as coming in the 3 color options: Gold, Slate and White. However, these recently leaked images show that the iPhone 5s might be available with a fourth “graphite” option with black trim.

The repair shop mendmyi has posted a comparison photo of the alleged volue/power button and mute switches in the new graphite color, as well as comparison shots of the new champagne, next to the original slate and silver buttons.

The authenticity of these parts is almost impossible to confirm as genuine. The early shots of the “gold” iPhone have since been shown as a more subdued “champagne” color. So time will be the only determining factor as to what is genuine and what is not.

Expect Apple to unveil the next generation devices on September 10th, and they will likely announce not only the 5S details but the long rumored low-cost 5C. Both of these rumored devices are rumored to launch in the last week of September.
